So lets tell you a little more about us... Well let's start with Jane, she used to be a manager of day care centre's and for years took a keen, but part time interest in our photography & business. She has quickly become an extremely good wedding photographer and is fantastic with children and baby sessions, the makeovers, model and boudoir shoots. Jane is now our studio manager and looks after all our bookings she is also inspirational at post production. Jane joined the company full time in Jan 2008

For me my great passions have always been Photography Music and Radio. I pretty much got ' music & radio ' out of my system, after spending years as an "International" club DJ. ( I worked in Belgium, Germany, Austria and even Reykjavik, Iceland!, there was a volcano going off then too!! ) This was followed by 16 years 'on-air' as a DJ and Programme Controller with Radio Wyvern back home here in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

I was born in Stourport-on-Severn, studied ' Photography in Art ' at school and began taking my photography seriously around 1983. My mentor is Peter Tilsley ( Former Chairman of Pershore Camera Club ) - a great photographer and a great friend to this day. Whilst on the Radio I undertook lots of portrait & PR photography - and a few weddings! In September '98 I changed direction and launched Sammy Southall Photography full-time and the business has grown bigger year after year.

I soon became a fully qualified member of "The MPA" Master Photographers Association and the "SWPP" The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers. I have covered hundreds of portrait, makeover, PR shoots and weddings. We have a fantastic professionally equipped studio at our home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, where I've lived for over 20 years. You'll find we always strive to offer the best work possible - with top quality at a fair price. Giving good value is very important to us both. With photography, as with most things in life, pretty much you get what you pay for, it's never wise to pay too much but equally it's not going to be a great finished product if you pay too little.

We both love our photography and are passionate about the Portraits, Makeovers and Weddings we have the privilege of covering. We both love to travel and have shot in and enjoyed Thailand, Malaysia and Goa in recent years

Jane and I work together on all family, children, makeover and boudoir shoots. At weddings we always shoot together with Jane as my second photographer, Working with a second photographer on weddings we are able to capture so many more of your special moments.

The vast majority of our work consists of portraits, makeovers, weddings and PR, but we also offer first class corporate business portraiture, head shots for actors and singers as well as sensual boudoir photography ( Only Boudoir ) & our "Trash the Dress" after the wedding shoots.

We have many clients who treat us as their families photographer, we have had families where we have done 3 weddings for two daughters and a son.

We have lots of couples who after we have taken their wedding pictures come back for baby and family shoots and lots of ladies who having been to us for a makeover book us again for couple shoots or family shoots.
